Bertha is a 55 year old woman with a history of Polymyalgia Rheumatica with poor compliance, who presents with sudden loss of vision in her right eye initially, followed by left eye soon after, associated with headaches in her temple, pain in her jaw, weight loss and night sweats. Inspection of the temporal region shows as below.

Hilary, 25, presents with 3 days of progressively swollen, painful red eye, on a background of recent “cold and flu” complicated by sinusitis. She has blurring of her vision and occasionally sees double. She has a fever and has felt “like Ive been run over by a truck” for the past few days.

Geoff, 75, presents with sudden onset painless visual disturbance over 24 hours in his right eye which started on waking, on a background of poorly controlled T2DM and HTN, Hyperlipidaemia. On examination VA is reduced to 6/60 and not improved with 1mm pinhole, you note a relative afferent pupillary defect.
